If you have never been to one of these conventions it’s a great way to celebrate your love of dolls. Bo Bergemann is one of the most accomplished fantastic doll artists in the industry. Her choice for the Fairy Tale theme was Snow White. Bo is a huge fan of the TV Series Once Upon a Time. So when she was deciding how to portray the Evil Queen, she drew her interpretations from that version of the story. Much to everyone’s surprise all 6 tables each had a one of a kind Wicked Queen. The sculpt was the same but they represented phases of her life from when she was not corrupt to totally evil. This is the first of the set. This doll was called Wicked Queen in Mourning. This doll was to represent when she actually was the fairest in the land and the love of her life had just died. She is a stunning doll in a stunning gown and her hat has a veil that can be worn in front for mourning or in the back. Each doll in the centerpieces was done to perfection. I have loved Bo’s dolls for a long time but I do believe she outdid herself this time. This is now wrapped beautifully by Bo and her daughter but I have included photos taken from the dinner event so you can see the doll set up. The dolls stand will be included.
