MDCC 2017 OOAK Bo Bergemann EVIL QUEEN Snow White Center Goth Doll Cold as Ice. Modern Doll September 2017 in Danvers/ Boston area Massachusetts. The theme was Fairy Tales Really Do Come True. If you have never been to one of these conventions it’s a great way to celebrate your love of dolls. Bo Bergemann is one of the most accomplished fantastic doll artists in the industry. Her choice for the Fairy Tale theme was Snow White. Bo is a huge fan of the TV Series Once Upon a Time. So when she was deciding how to portray the Evil Queen, she drew her interpretations from that version of the story. Much to everyone’s surprise all 6 tables each had a one of a kind BJD Wicked Queen. The sculpt was the same but they represented phases of her life from when she was not corrupt to totally evil. This is the last of the set. This doll was called Cold as Ice. This doll was to represent what she became as time passed. As you can see even her eyelashes appear to have ice on them. She is holding the apple to poison Snow White with (the apple is not attached). Each doll in the centerpieces was done to perfection. I have loved Bo’s dolls for a long time but I do believe she outdid herself this time. The only thing I feel I need to point out is that t. He stand was a bit unusual and became unstable. The stand in the photos is not right for her but I needed to use something for the photos. So she is not going to come with a stand. She will come with the Certificate of Authenticity.
