Disneys Snow White The Evil Queen framed LTD edition cel bring me her heart
“Evil Queen” hand inked cel. Double matted and framed with COA. Framed size 23 x19. Very hard to find framed. This Limited edition (500+25 artist proofs) hand painted character cell (with background) from Walt Disney’s first feature-length animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is one of the series of selected limited editions of the original artwork from cartoon classics issued by the Walt Disney. Since the original cels used in the production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are no longer available, the studio has re-created the artwork using special techniques. The original animation drawings were inked by a Disney artist, and this inked line was transferred to acetate plastic cells by a special xerox process. The colors are Disney-created acrylic based paints that were hand applied by Disney painters. To permanently protect the delicate lines and paints, each limited edition cel in the series has been laminated on both sides with a clear plastic. The background scenes for these cels have been faithfully reproduced by Disney background artist, using as reference the original Snow White and the seven dwarves background paintings, sketches and frames from the film. The final results have been printed on high-quality paper. This scene with the wicked queen is from sequence 2B scene 8 (ordering the huntsman to kill snow white the queen tells him to bring back the princesses hurt as proof of her death). This cel was released in 1987. Note there are 2 small tears in the back on the framing paper on the bottom of the cel see photo.
