THEY SAY THE MIRROR HAS TWO FACES. AND SO DOES THIS METICULOUSLY SCULPTED FIGURINE FROM JIM SHORE FEATURING THE TWO FACES OF THE EVIL QUEEN AND HER COUNTERPART, THE OLD HAG. PERFECT FOR HALLOWEEN DECOR! This Jim Shore figurine features the iconic Evil Queen and Old Hag from Disney’s Snow White. The highly detailed 11 figurine is made from hand-painted stone resin and is part of the Walt Disney Showcase Collection: Disney Traditions. What’s great about this sculpture is that you have many options for display — You can only show one side of the figurine, depending on your mood… Or you can display it from either side to show the duality of the character deep! Or maybe put it on a rotating stand so it constantly flips between the two sides. Whatever you decide, it’s a very cool rendition of these characters in the Jim Shore style. The figurine is approximately 11″ H x 6 1/4″ W x 7 1/2 D. It comes in its original box and packaging, along with the tags. The model for the piece was sculpted by Jim Shore. The figurine is hand-painted stone resin. It is part of non-numbered limited edition. This sculpture was displayed for a short period, and then dusted off and packaged up in its box and stored in a closet with other Disney figures. It is in excellent condition and would make a great addition to anyone’s Disney or Jim Shore collection. Here’s a little info I found on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs from Wikipedia. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a 1937 American animated film produced by Walt Disney Productions and released by RKO Radio Pictures. Based on the German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, it is the first full-length animated feature film and the first Disney animated feature film. In 1989, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was selected for preservation in the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress for being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant”. Here’s a little info about Jim Shore from his website. Jim Shore grew up in rural South Carolina, the son of artistic parents who instilled a love of American folk art. His grandmother was a master quilter who taught him the patience and skill to bring intricate designs to life. Finally in 2001, he partnered with Enesco to create Heartwood Creek, the successful brand that brought Jim world-wide fame.
